I bought this as a Christmas present for myself and I got it delivered on 12/22. I already had the 49" on my pc and replaced with this new 57". In the beginning everything looked okay but after 30min, the screen started to tear and twitch. After a few minutes, it all became blurry and you can't see anything. For a respected world company like Samsung plus, paying premium for the top of line product, is it all we can get? this crap quality? I saw other reviews with same issues. What is Samsung QC doing? Don't buy this crap.

Great for multitasking and bring productivity up for work. Great for streaming because it allows you to partition the screen for multiple inputs being simultaneous.Ive use this monitor different ways and have not been dissappointed Depening on the game, the monitor can use multiple Aspect Ratio's - 4:3, 19:9, 21:9 and 32:9. See photos below....I would suggest getting a L-shap desk and monitor in the corner so it curves with the design of the desk...This will allow you to put distance between you for FULL SCREEN games

I do wish that it came with speakers in the monitor. That is my only complaint. Setup was easy, but the manual could be much better. I love that you can tilt and move the monitor up and down for adjusting. The quality is amazing. When gaming, it feels like you're truly in the game, making it that much more fun. The graphics are crystal clear and of high quality, so you'll be able to see everything. Besides gaming, you can use your regular PC, IPad and phone connected to it. I was able to split the screen in 3. Very nice option for other things, such as business. The screen is very versatile and can be used in various ways. I highly recommend it.

It has all the ports you could ask for (3 HDMI, a Display port, USB hub, and a headphone jack). The ports auto selects to what device is powered so no messing around with inputs. The picture quality is gorgeous. Whether playing games or watching shows the picture is beautiful. I had no stuttering or lags at all. The blacks are perfect and the colors pop. It is a big monitor with a curve so you may have to move your chair back a little further than a small monitor, but the detail is so good that it will not matter. Overall this monitor has all the features one could think of (dual UHD, all the ports, great swivel and tilt, picture in picture, and more). All this and it only weighs about 41 pounds, making it easy to move and set up. Speaking of set up It was simple and the guide walks you through step by step.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 57" Odyssey Neo G9 Curved Gaming Monitor provides much more real estate than my prior 27" monitor. This monitor creates an immersive workspace, allowing multiple windows to open side by side. This 57" Odyssey is handy for multitasking, as you can view documents, spreadsheets, and web pages simultaneously without needing multiple monitors. The size is quite large and takes over my 3.5' x 2' desk space, forcing me to use the keyboard tray I did not need to use prior. This is something to consider if you need a more oversized desk or if your desk is next to a wall. The 240Hz refresh rate, 1,000 nit peak brightness, and 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio make it easy to see in a room with lots of light! If I need to name a con, I can think of two, and there seems not to be an after-market single arm that holds up this monitor to free up some desk space. The other con is that the price is high, for what you get is not unreasonable, but this could be a barrier for many people.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had it setup for few hours and initially overwhelmed by the size. But after couple hours of use, it's unbelievable! Prior had a 38" and 27" as a dual setup and 49" at work and this G9 blows them away! I thought the curve was too aggressive initially but is perfect for this size. Some of the best color and brightness and the HDR works really well. It's not advertised as g-sync compatible but thought it would work. So far, it's not registering on Nvidia control panel as g-sync compatible I believe it's not working. Hopefully future Nvidia drivers or monitor firmware will address this. Also, if running Nvidia GPU you will not be able to get the advertised 240hz at max resolution due to it only having DP 1.4 on the Nvidia GPU. Runs fine on 120hz. I believe running HDMI 2.1 will work but have not tried it. I have a Water-cooled RTX4090 and it struggles on some games on native resolution without DLSS. Setup was super easy out of the box but would need a decent size desk and having a 2nd person to help will make it easier. I currently have a 2nd display configured but probably will remove it since its unnecessary for my needs. I highly recommend this display for gaming and productive work. I worked remotely earlier, and it was super nice to have the resolution and the screen size for easy remoting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knowing that it’s a 57’ monitor doesn't really sink in until you actually see it for yourself. From the initial delivery I was thinking, wow this thing is enormous. Set up was a breeze. A couple of screws for the mounting bracket and you are done. I will say that it was helpful lifting with another person. I hooked up my MacBook and decided to watch a movie. Unbelievable picture quality, crisp and clear. It felt as if I was in the film, or maybe because of the thousands of smaller LED’s that are hanging around. Then I pulled out my old HP CPU and gave it a try. With the PIP/PBP mode I can work with both systems and still have a large screen size. To be honest I love that feature for this size of a monitor. It makes me feel really productive. I will also mention that I feel that I am not straining my eyes when I’m using this monitor, that is why the 1000R Curvature is an important feature to me, for the viewing angle and depth perception. Gaming with this is an understatement. I really can’t put it into words except for you have to try it for yourself and I hope that you get to feel what I feel when you do so. You really can tell the difference with the 240Hz refresh rate. One last thing is to be sure that you have enough desk space to hold this monitor because keep in mind it’s a 57’ monitor. Luckily for me, I just updated my home office last month with a bigger desk. So keep in mind what you are getting and you wont be disappointed.

It has a great display and easily connects with your various devices. I tested the monitors picture quality with some of the highest resolution videos and it delivered. The picture quality is out of this world. Now on to the curve, the 1000R curve delivers. It allows you to sit in the middle of this massive 57-inch screen and see edge to edge with no head movement. The menu for the monitor is easily accessible with decent controls. Once you understand what is where with the different menus it is easy to customize your settings. The picture in picture features a game changer. 2 4K displays from different sources takes multi-tasking to an insane level. It is easy to change the P-N-P with preset configurations and it is one of the features I loved even though I didn’t know I needed it. There are varied aspect ratio configurations preset to see what works best for you and your source device. The wide setting seems to struggle not to have an over stretch image and cut off some of the screen on video. Some of the other ratios seem to take full advantage of the monitors’ crisp and clear display. Now you do need to have some serious power to get to the full potential of this monitor as it’s equipped with the latest and greatest tech. So, I was not able to push it to its limits but it shined in even a reduced output state based on my devices. I have found my new everyday monitor that can stand up to any and every task or tasks that I take on.

I could not be more blown away by my experience with this beauty. Design: Due to the 1000R curvature, the screen naturally fills your peripheral so that neck turning is not necessary to take in the entire field of view. I have been able to enjoy the most immersion I have ever had in a match of Call of Duty due to the extra width this monitor provides. The white shell on the outside of this monitor is gorgeous; think ivory. A study metal and plastic base keeps it rock solid in terms of stability and the build quality here is just top notch. The stand also allows it to tilt, swivel and be height adjustable! I was able to find the perfect angle and height to enjoy the screen at its best. Specs and Display: Every bell and whistle that screams top tier is here: A Quantum Mini-LED panel that boasts a 240hz refresh rate, VESA DisplayHDR1000 certified - that means it is rated at up to 1000 nits bright for eye-searingly beautiful HDR. The local dimming feature on this monitor covers 2392 zones and it makes those blacks almost as inky as OLED screens. Came with about 10 bad pixels all placed at less that a 10th of a square inch. I have the QN90A flagship from 2021 and the F8000 from 2024 and it seems that Samsung screens have horrible yield regarding bad pixels. Image quality and brightness are unquestionable, but local dimming is having trouble supporting professional work of thin bright lines over a black background. This is the most expensive screen one can buy....... but Samsung is too big to care. Not even possible to add the images to this review for some reason.

Never had the chance to try it with HDMI. But games that support the native resolution is beautiful and so immersive! The monitor does produce significant heat and does not seem to work with g-sync or at least it didn't seem too. Works incredible as a business monitor as well. Remote sessions can have multiple screens open and no need for secondary screen. Highly recommended!

Monitor was incredible then it died for no reason. The screen is black. I can see the screensaver in the background but it is not lit up. Changed cables, unplugging everything and same issue. OSD menu cannot be seen unless i unplug all cables. Tried different monitor no issue. I am so disappointed to pay this kind of money and it dies in a matter of a few days. What do i do? If it died this quickly how long will this product last when it is replaced? Ruined my holiday weekend of gaming i had planned..

Basically making two 32” seamless view of different computers. It does take a decent portion of the width of the desk. I plan on wall mounting it to free up the space occupied by the base. The refresh rate of 240Hz makes it great for gamers. The only con i can see if there’s not a usb c connection for laptop connection or powering a laptop when using the dual screen capability.

Starting with a sleek design and minimalistic frame and ending with a customizable RGB LED in the back. The monitor itself is massive in size and that’s a plus, since it can handle dual 4K resolution. In terms of performance this beast can handle 240Hz, more than enough for gaming to achieve perfect smoothness in motion. You can’t ask for more, and there isn’t another one like this one. I like the built-in USB hub, that allows me to switch between computers and use the same keyboard and mouse without switching the wireless dongle. Colors are eye-popping and very accurate, including blacks thanks to local micro dimming and QLED. Overall this monitor is top-of-the-line workhorse, highly recommended for gamers.

I have never had such a quality monitor in my life and on top of all the top notch features, being able to reduce my desk from 3 separate monitors to just 1 screen is amazing. Being able to have two separate PCs plugged in at the same time is insanely beneficial, basically works as a picture in picture feature like a TV. The built in KVM switch is a god-send, especially when you install a 3rd party seamless KVM switch application that automatically changes your keyboard and mouse to the appropriate PC just by knowing where your mouse location is!!

The immersion is unreal, and having so much screen real estate boosts my productivity immensely – I can have multiple apps open side-by-side without feeling cramped. Games look stunning with the detail and colors. However, it's a beast! Make sure you have a deep desk. Getting it to run at its full potential (240Hz at 7680x2160) required some fiddling with cables and my graphics card. It definitely pushes my system to its limits in demanding games. While the curve is great for immersion, the extreme edges can have a slight color shift. Overall, if you have the space and a powerful PC, it's a fantastic, albeit expensive, piece of tech.

It has made editing videos easier for me and has improved my gaming experience. Working in editing is wonderful, making everything easier. I have a large workspace, I can have all the applications on the same screen and well organized. The image quality is too good, it falls into the excellent. It is an adjustment to get used to the size and how everything is stretched out when gaming, but after a while you do not notice it. The best part is that you can play side by side with another person with their own device as this monitor can display two devices at the same time through HDMI. It is like two great monitors built in one! If you have some extra cash and are looking to enjoy your gaming or computer experience a bit more than I recommend this monitor.

It allows you to have multiple inputs and essentially split the screen into two full 32" screens Which makes work a breeze, And you can even put small side windows on the edge.Great for the microsoft apps. And then switch it to a single screen for gaming, and it's a no brainer. Sometimes I'll even have gaming on one side and work on another side if it's a slower day, Allows me to game and get work done at the same time without skipping a beat.

I also only use my LG OLED for Playstation Pro now. I used to use it on both my PC and PS5. Then I went and tried like 10 different top end Monitors and the picture sucked and the in tunnels of a game the OLED Monitors were too dark. I fell in love with this monitor. The only down side is it gets pretty warm. I run a cheap little air purifier behind it because I have this wall mounted in a corner. This helps keep the air flowing behind it.

About a quarter of the time is playing full screen games: RTS (StarCraft, Homeworld and C&C), TBS (Civilization), RPG (Diablo, Elder Scrolls, and Witcher), and Simulator (Elite Dangerous and Space Engineers). The remaining amount is taking care of actual work activities. Having multiple windows open makes it quick for me to do my work. I use Microsoft PowerToys to handle all of the window sizes.

There isn’t anything else on the market that comes close to this in terms of size and spectacle. Monitor works as intended and is a truly impressive setup especially for racing and flying applications. Just remember that his is now an older monitor and has refresh rate limitations. I play at 120Hz so it works for me. Need to have the right PC to take full advantage of this so be sure you plan out your setup before diving deep!

If you want to run two of this monitor for gaming with nvidia surround , it not that good because the monitor bezel very thick , i hope next version will has smaller bezel , remove the rgb, why we even need those rgb strip since it only add more thickness on the monitor bezel and put the menu button on the side of the monitor , for someone who wonder why not flip the top monitor for less bazel thickness ? it won't work on nvidia surround since it doesn't allow you to rotate individual screen , you need nvidia mosaic for that which only support on workstation card like RTX 5000 or 6000 pro. Overall amazing monitor but you need powerful gpu like 5080 or 5090 to get full 240 hz out of this monitor but i recomended 5090 since 5080 performance not good enough.

With all the options and upgrades along with the size it would have been Awesome with just one addition. SOUND! Yes if it would have had it's own speakers installed it would have surpassed my expectations but it came in just short. You could just install your own sound system or computer speakers but for what you pay for this GREAT monitor it should have it all. Again all around excellent and my second curved monitor which it puts to shame of course it's 8 years old too. And for a monitor I would recommend this to anyone that is remotely interested just make sure you did look at it specs and pull the trigger.

Before having two actual 32" I would only have two windows open at a time. Because it's a smooth transition now, I can have three windows open perfectly sized. It has a great looking picture and the refresh rate of course is awesome. The only drawback is pretty annoying. It does not recognize a different device powering on to auto switch to it. I have to manually turn on my monitor before turning the other device on or I've got to mess with the controls and switch inputs manually. Your cheapest of cheap monitors could do this perfectly while this extremely expensive monitor fails.

If you have no experienced an ultrawide, you are missing out on a crazily immersive, peripheral filling experience. I use this monitor mostly for gaming (75%) and partially for work (25%). The updates to the dimming zones, and the brightness of this monitor are 2nd to none. Now you will need atleast a rtx4090 to really drive good frames, but man is this beautiful to be in front of. If you have an original odyssey g9, it is still worth the upgrade (wish they ran a trade in program :( ). The additional 2" of vertical real estate really take away the 'envelope' feel of the original. Also the dimming zones are fantastic for high contrast situations. You will not be disappointed!

From the initial delivery I was thinking, wow this thing is enormous. I hooked up my MacBook and decided to watch a movie. Unbelievable picture quality, crisp and clear. It felt as if I was in the film, or maybe because of the thousands of smaller LED’s that are hanging around. With the PIP/PBP mode I can work with both systems and still have a large screen size. To be honest I love that feature for this size of a monitor. It makes me feel really productive. Gaming with this is an understatement. I really can’t put it into words except for you have to try it for yourself and I hope that you get to feel what I feel when you do so. You really can tell the difference with the 240Hz refresh rate.

Now, everything I need can be accomplished faster without the need to switch acreens or programs. Drag and drops are faster and more efficient. No longer do I need to swirch over and over. (Of course running programs still need an efficient CPU and GPU which I also have, but that's beside the point.) As for gaming, Gaming is Life! I can see everything much more clearer and more vividly than before. Streaming is also easier because I can see everything that's happening and fixing technical aspects is a breeze compared to my previous monitor.

However, the local dimming on high or any other setting other than low or off present some issues with pixel, Halo and darker areas that surround brighter areas. I have said this too low for my purposes to mitigate this, however it does not completely eliminate it. Additionally, some of the multiple input settings for configuring monitor areas is a little clunky be can be cumbersome to set up.

This monitor replaced my 49" Odyssey which I put on an arm mount to use side by side or vertical. The greatest part is the pleasure to use the best monitor ever. If that's not enough, I have the Ark monitor above that that I will game on or stream utube. The only issue I have is that not every game supports ultra wide. Thanks Samsung for the great monitors.

My work laptop drives it in 4k, but not full resolution. I mostly use it for productivity but my work laptop has a much of vpns, so I can't download the app for snapping. It's still pretty nice. Display wouldn't fit with stand under my hutch, so I took the doors off. I may cut 1-2" so it fits but the dang legs take up too much space, poor design. See photo.

I came across the Odyssey G9 and solved multiple problems for me. 1.) trying to match resolutions on multiple monitors was eliminated by using 1 widescreen 2.) having a clean cable management with multiple attachments was solved by only needing 1 access port to attach to the laptop. No more spaghetti dangling behind the desk. 3.) The resolution is Top Tier. By running a DPI cable your able to get the max resolution. I find myself watching more TV on my G9 than the living room TV. It's become multifunctional for Gaming, Work, and Entertainment. Paired it up with a Bose speaker and i'm in heaven. It's been over 3 years since investing on this monitor unit and still highly satisfied with the purchase.

I ended up mounting it on an arm to save desktop space as the base is quite large. I like that the controls have moved to the bottom of the monitor and that the style of button changed, it feels better built than the 49". I don't feel like i am going to wear it the buttons when swapping inputs while using the very handy built in KVM. PBP works great, and with the assignable KVM input to source I can continue working while streaming content simultaneously. I will say that this monitor is very heavy, take that into account when setting it up and selecting mounts. Image quality is great with my current setup and I can wait to get my next generation graphics card to fully utilize what this minority can do.

I was positively surprised by it size, it’s massive compared to my previous two 27” monitors. Resolution is great, double 4k. The refresh rate tops at 240Hz, but my graphic card was only able to handle 60Hz. Time for an upgrade. I was surprised to learn that the monitor has built-in RGB lighting in the back and two accent lights up front, this fits my red-accented PC perfectly, although besides onscreen options I didn’t find a way to sync it with the motherboard LEDs. The gaming experience is very immersive. The big size and it’s curvature, 7680×2160 resolution with 1ms response time and true-to-life colors make it an amazing monitor for gamers. In conclusion, the monitor is a 57” masterpiece that doesn’t have any competition.

This monitor is amazing. I have seen some other reviewers saying that this monitor does not support it full native resolution at 240hrz. But it certainly does. Running it at 7680x2160 at 240hrz no issues. For this to work you need a good GPU- I'm using a RTX 5080 and a Display cable that can handle the data. One for 2.1b I recommend. Also I found I had to change the settings in the monitor to the 2.1 port manually as it does not do this automatically.

Owned for roughly a month at this point. Out of the box, the unit was plagued with an odd issue where the display would go dark for 3 seconds and come back. Would repeat randomly. Support chat, though pleaseant and accommodating, didn't net any results. Updated firmware, reset settings, nothing changed condition. I ended up putting a 600w UPS in place for the display and the issue hasn't resurfaced. I can't speak to color presentation since I have some issues with color differentiation. If it's not correct, I couldn't tell you either way. For gaming it's been great. Running it on a 4090 so only getting 120hz max on HDMI 2.1. Performance is smooth, and I'll play for hours on end without any real eye strain. Price point is ridiculous. Not fond of the menu button, I find it a bit clunky Overall though I really like it.

It's great 50% of the time. But I have a 3080ti, and sometimes when I game I get horrible screen tearing down the center left hand side. I can sometimes turn the monitor off and on again to get it back to normal. Otherwise I have to restart. Before purchase, I was unaware most games don't actually support this wide of a screen, and to compensate, they just stretch the left and right sides. Its obvious and annoying. So, I'm not actually getting the peripheral advantage I thought I would when I ordered this monitor. P.S. - Samsung enabled AI to help users write reviews here, and as I write it tries to autofill what thinks I'm writing and keeps messing up! VERY ANNOYING!!!

I purchased this a few weeks ago and I have to say it's worth every penny. I got it on a hefty sale, but after owning it I would recommend it. I replaced the neo g9 49 inch with this monitor. The color and clarity rivals OLED. There is slight glow around white text on a pitch black background (had to test) but is not noticeable during normal use. There are a lot of settings to play with, and took a while to set up to my liking. Out of the box it looked really good. The only thing I would say is if purchasing make sure to buy a good quality 16k or 8k display port cable because the supplied one is very short.

I recommended this product.

I have used 3 2560x1440 monitors to create ultra wide for gaming and work since before curved monitors existed. However being able to do it with a more vertical space and no horizontal screen division without any lost horizontal screen space is amazing. I really like the curve and its higher emersion. It also does not require as much power to get more than 120 FPS when before pushing tri monitors I would dip below. As an ultra wide gamer, I would suggest this monitor to anyone who wants to be immersed in their game or not miss the target just out of typical FOV. I also use it during my work day for multi tasking and utilize the picture in picture feature often or give my work laptop full control so I can open a large number of items and see them all at once.

I have my work computer and my personal desktop connected to it and I LOVE the pbp. To see 2 different machines with no line in boarder in the middle is the best. Only thing is, I wish it was OLED. My other 2 monitors were IPS panals and I can tell the difference, but overall, I can deal with it.

I always wanted to get the 49” Odyssey G9 but when the 57” Odyssey Neo G9 came out I couldn’t make up my mind.. Well I’m glad I made the choice to go with the 57” Odyssey Neo G9. I’m still in love with the display and how I can multi task in one screen. Opening multiple tabs without the need of multiple monitors. I would highly recommend it. Amazing gaming and everyday monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monitor itself is great. Large size. Crisp pictures. Perfect for gaming and work. The problem is waking up from sleep. Most of the time it is fine but sometimes there would be issues ranging from flickering if the entire screen to lines on the screen, always on the right half, to a white screen to a screen rotating between red, green, and blue. Most times a power cycle of the monitor would fix the problem but sometimes the HDMI cables needs to be unplugged and replugged back in to fix. This happens with my first video card, a 4090, which died within a week of connecting to this monitor, my work labtop, and my replacement 4090. Not sure if this is unique to my monitor or not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I primarily bought this monitor to replace my two work monitors on my WFH setup. I wanted to be able to use my WFH monitors with my personal gaming computer as well. This was a great idea and works well, but I've had trouble getting my work computer to be able to use the entire monitor space. I ultimately had to change the aspect ratio of my WFH setup to 16:9 so that the image displays correctly. The monitor works, but I effectively can only use half of it for work, which defeated the purpose. For my gaming setup, ut works great! I think this may be because I have an RTX 4090 on my gaming PC, however. I'm not sure how many other graphics cards can handle the native 32:9 aspect ratio. Overall a good monitor, and I can't necessarily ding the rating because of my work computer, but I couldn't find any information beforehand indicating that it wouldn't work.

One missing feature is ruining the whole experience for me. This monitor does NOT scan inputs for available signals, which is a given on any other monitor, even the cheapest ones, which also renders useless the KVM feature, unless manually switching inputs. This is sooooo cumbersome, annoying and frustrating. I can only hope for a firmware update to fix this, in case it is not a hardware incapacity of course.

I recommended this product.

The monitor was dim in the beginning and had a little learning curve to get the settings just right but after a little messing around I had it just the way I wanted. This is my first ever serious gaming monitor and I love it's size and design. The refresh rate was also very fast and the image was crisp.

This was the best thing I could find. I didn't like the stand because of the amount of desktop space it consumed, solved with an aftermarket arm. It still gets 5 stars though. For gaming, I prefer this versus a VR headset. I would buy it again.

However, my gaming laptop isn't powerful enough to fully utilize the monitor. Turns out, this monitor is outstanding for work from home. I use the split screen / PIP mode and now have two 4K ~27" monitors with no physical divider, and I can fit so many windows/tabs all across the screen.

Let me tell you, having the equivalent of two 4k monitors side by side with no bezel inbetween is amazing. For gaming i like to use it as one continuous screen for ultrawide support but splitting it into two, to use it as two separate monitors for work gives me so much room for the task i need to accomplish. 10 out of 10 for sure.

It was a feeling unlike any other to see the entire 57" ultrawide screen turn on For gaming it has been an exceptional experience. Sharp resolution, smooth refresh rate, and color accuracy is excellent For homework, it is been exactly what I needed. Having so much screen to have all the windows I need up at once makes it so much more efficient to do homework than with any other monitor setup For software, I absolutely love the possibilities and customization of the menu. I can change so many options from color, to HDR, power efficency, contrast, brightness, and much much more to fit my needs and feel like my own product. I can also split the screen into two monitors, change refresh rates, and other hardware and power changes. Overall this monitor is exactly what I needed for college work and an unparalleled experience for gaming that no other monitor can do. I could not be happier with it!

I was lucky and never experienced these issues so maybe I got lucky again or their products aren't as sour as others say. The monitor works amazing, with all features intact. I definitely recommend to any one that's in to sim racing, only down side is that it doesn't always start up when you load your computer. The monitor goes in to a deep sleep and you have to turn on and off a couple of times, but other then that no complaints.
