Vähemmän epäpuhtauksia

Samsungin vedensuodatin käyttää korkealaatuista hiiltä, jolla saadaan poistettua 99 % potentiaalisesti vaarallisista veden epäpuhtauksista. Niitä ovat muun muassa:

Merkkivalo ilmoittaa suodattimen vaihtotarpeesta

Jääkaapin digitaalisessa paneelissa on merkkivalo, joka ilmoittaa suodattimen vaihtotarpeesta. Valo on punainen, kun on aika vaihtaa suodatin. Suodattimeen voi myös laittaa muistutukseksi kuukausitarran (sisältyy uuden hiilisuodattimen pakkaukseen).

Installation was very easy - just turn off the water, relieve the pressure by opening the glass fill valve and remove the old one by turning counterclockwise and pulling it out. Then just simply insert the new one, turn clockwise to seat it and turn the water back on. I then ran several pitchers of water to flush out any foreign material that may be present. NOTE - when you first dispense the water, it will splash as the trapped air is released. The quality of the filtered water is very good, with no odor or taste. The chlorine smell that we get from the tap water is no longer present after going though the filter.

I drink about 4 pitchers a day and every time my water tastes clean. This filter has saved me money because I stopped buying water bottles. Not only does it help out my wallet, but it also helps me do my part in not using plastics. One thing I also love is the fact that Samsung uses eco-friendly packaging. To install this filter, all you have to do is turn and pull out your old filter, put this filter in with the arrow pointed at the unlock picture, and twist to the lock position. It only takes less than a minute! You will have to toss out the water in your pitcher (if you have Beverage Center), so that adds a few more minutes. I will always purchase this filter for my Samsung refrigerator as I am very happy with this product!

The taste of the water is clearly better when using a genuine filter. We are only a two-person household, but we are very heavy water drinkers. My Hubby said that it was very easy to install the new filter. He just unscrewed the old one and pulled it out. The next step was to then slide in the new one and twist it to lock it in. Easy peazy. It only took a minute to do and then all we had to do was flush the water pitcher several times to ensure the water was filtered free of any charcoal particles. When you do this several times you may have to wait for the final pitcher to get cold since you are pulling a large amount of water through the system in a short time and it hasn’t had a chance yet to get chilled. This is a quick fix for tastier water and ice cubes. It is well worth the price for months of clean filtered water.

My only problem with this filter is how difficult it is to install. The directions are unclear and I had to watch a YouTube video to do it exactly right. It is not as simply as removing it and putting it back in. You have to turn it counterclockwise to the lock picture and then turn it clockwise and push it in really hard to get it in correctly. Once it's in its great but it can be a bit anxiety provoking getting it in right.

I do not want to taste or smell bad water. This filter does exactly what it is supposed to do: it provides us with good well water that has no artificial filter taste or smell. The filter is really easy to access and replace, and the fridge tells me when it's time for a new filter. The packaging was very eco-friendly - the cardboard box was sturdy enough to hold the filter securely and not get crushed but thin enough that it wasn't wasting material. I had to run water thru the filter, as usual, but once that was done the drinking water was crisp and clear. It's nice that this filter lasts longer than most water filters, filtering up to 500 gallons vs 200-400 on most water filters. I would definitely recommend the Samsung filter to friends and family.

The HAF-QIN water filter works perfectly and is something we use every single day. We are big on reusable water bottles, especially with two kids, so everyone is constantly filling up their cups and water bottles throughout the day. Having filtered water right from the refrigerator is super convenient and has saved us a ton of money compared to constantly buying bottled water or refilling water jugs. The filter is also really easy to replace, lasts us a good amount of time, and doesn’t cost a ton to replace throughout the year. I love the convenience of knowing we always have filtered water ready to go without having to think much about it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our refrigerator's ice had started coming out cloudy and the water had a faint off taste, so I replaced the filter with this one and the difference showed up within the first pitcher the water tastes noticeably cleaner and the ice has gone back to clear rather than the cloudy cubes we'd been getting used to. Installation was straightforward since this is the square design our fridge requires I confirmed our old filter's shape before ordering and it twisted into place exactly like the original with no forcing or misalignment. The authentication tag was a nice reassurance step, I peeled it off and held it against the included magnet and the green stripes appeared as described confirming it was the real thing rather than a knockoff, which matters given how particular refrigerator filter housings can be about fit. Flow rate has stayed strong and consistent since installing it, no weak trickle from the dispenser and no dripping or leaking around the filter housing, which was my main worry going in given how a poor fitting filter can cause exactly that kind of mess. Since replacement is recommended roughly every six months, I've set a reminder so we don't forget and end up drinking through a spent filter without realizing it. The whole swap took only a couple of minutes once the old one was out. Overall this has restored our water and ice quality noticeably and installation was genuinely hassle free, and I would recommend it to anyone with the same square filter style refrigerator who has noticed their water or ice quality slipping.

The Samsung HAF-QIN has proven that my assumptions were wrong. For a start it fits perfectly into the filter slot. No hard twisting or challenges seating the filter were required. It took a while for the water to start flowing, and we made sure that we flushed several gallons through before drinking. I was pleasantly surprised to not see small specks of carbon filter during the flushing process which normally occurs when I have changed the filter in the past. When it came time to taste the water, all of my family members commented that it tasted much better than before. I know we will be using this filter again and again in the future. One slight improvement would be to include a set of stickers that indicate the month or date it needs to be replaced. That way we can replace at the right time and continue to enjoy tasty and clean drinking water.

This water filter does great removing impurities from my drinking water and my ice cubes. The filter comes with a QR code to go to the app to scan to ensure that this filter is genuine. The app tells you if the serial number of the filter has ever been scanned to prove authenticity. The filter is easy to install, just twist and remove the old filter then remove the cap, push and twist the new filter. Make sure you hear the swoosh when you turn the filter and then it is ready to go. The directions say then dispense 3 gallons of water to remove carbon dust. Water tastes great and crisp! The filter indicator on my Samsung fridge (SRF7500BB) turned red, so I ordered this genuine Samsung HAF-QIN/EXP replacement cartridge. Installation was straightforward and, so far, the cartridge has been working as expected with no leaks or issues. My only concern is around recycling the old filter. I wanted to dispose of it responsibly, but I couldn't find any instructions on the cartridge itself about what to do with the used filter. I even visited Samsung's sustainability section, "Re-creation, not disposal," looking for guidance on recycling fridge water filter cartridges, but I couldn't find any specific information. I'd like to think there is a recycling or take-back program in place, but if there is, it's not easy to find. Clear recycling instructions would make the overall ownership experience much better. Google search reveals no information about recycling Samsung's water filter cartridge

The filter is centrally located behind a flip up door in the center of the main refrigerator compartment. Installation is very easy. You twist the old filter and pull it out. Then you push in the new one and twist it in place. Takes a few seconds and then the replace filter light resets. Packed in a no frills easy to open box. My only complaint was the lack of instructions on the box. I had done a filter replacement before so I didn’t need them but they would be helpful to new owners.

The refrigerator even notifies when it is time to replace the filter. Removing the old filter is as simple as opening the cover, gripping the handle on bottom of filter and turning counter-clockwise and then simply pulling it out. Install is just the opposite. Insert the new filter straight in and ensure it is seated. You can tell it is seated by when the filter is all the way in. The rotate the filter 1/2 turn clockwise and it will stop rotating. Close the cover door. You are done. Take a bow. Then you just need to run a few pitchers of water through the dispenser to clear air out and any charcoal dust. Don't be alarmed by the water being cloudy the first couple pitchers. That is just air bubbles and some charcoal dust. Water and ice from the refrigerator is always sparkling and refreshing. I used an after market filter before and it leaked because it didn't seat correctly. So, always use Samsung filters.

Zgadzam się z kimś wcześniej. Mieliśmy dzbanek filtrujący i ardzo cieszyliśmy się że nie będziemy musieli już go używać ponieważ będziemy mieli wbudowanym filtr w lodówce. Niestety w porównania do zwykłego dzbanka z filtrem za 15 zł lodówka kompletnie nie filtruje kamienia. Używam lodowki dopiero miesiąc i po umyciu czajnika juz po 5 dniach jest znowu tyle kamienia jakby nigdy nie był czyszczony. Uważam że firma o takiej renomie powinna popracować nad filtrem i zaproponować coś skutecznego. Filtr jest uzywany na codzień i nie stoi raczej nie używany dłużej niż w nocy...

I know there is a ton of copies out there, but I always feel it is a safe bet going with the original from the manufacturer. No complaints so far, and none to be expected. PRO TIP: Make sure that you turn off your water line so that you have a clean installation and avoid any mess. Leaving water behind in the filter area will cause mold to grow and you will be very unhappy the next time you have to replace your filter.
